Planning for World Sex and Take-Out Day
1. Sign up for the Facebook event
This is totally optional, but will give you a warm feeling inside knowing that you aren't just sitting home with your loved one feeding each other mooshu pork with disposable chopsticks - you're part of a movement!
2. Line up a sex partner
Some of you may have this locked down already - others, not so much. The big day isn't until August 6th, so there's still time to hit the dating sites or Craigslist or the bars or to chat up that cashier at Whole Foods or whatever it is you do to meet people.
And if none of that works out, we will applaud your solo effort.
3. Plan your menu
We encourage everyone to keep an up-to-date library of local delivery and take-out menus at all times. If you've already compiled such a library - good work! Your menu planning should be easy.
If you don't already have a stack of take-out and delivery menus, Delivery.com is a good place to start. Yelp is great site for getting ratings for local restaurants. Ask friends for recommendations too.
Once you have your menus and recommendations, pick your favorite thing. Seriously, don't worry about anything else. Go back to your diet on August 7th. And if your loved one wants food from a different restaurant than you, that's fine - make the extra trip to the Szechuan place across town. You're both worth it.
4. Share!
This is optional, and it's completely up to you whether and how much to share. Some people might just post a menu, others might take video of the whole day. It's your call. See our Twitter & Facebook page for more information.
